Hyrneside is a quiet, convenient semi-rural, countryside base on a 530 acre farm, near the historical orchard town of Newburgh. Ideal for day trips to St Andrews, the legendary Old Course, and the famous West Sands beach; Dundee’s impressive V&A; Edinburgh’s cobblestone streets, museums, art galleries and festivals; the East Neuk’s fishing villages where art festivals, water sports and lobster and chips await and, further afield, The Trossachs National Park. Old Parkhill is a short farm walk to Lindores Distillery via a bridge over the Holy Burn and a few steps away from the Fife Coastal Path.

Please Note: When you turn onto Abbey Road, drive past the Lindores Abbey Distillery and keep going, passing the steading development and Parkhill Farmyard. Please don’t drive into the steading development or the farmyard. If you are traveling to stay at Old Parkhill Cottage, keep driving along Abbey Road until you see a farm track on your right, signposted Hyrneside Old Parkhill Cottage. This is the driveway to the cottage. The cottage is on its own, up a farm track, with no other properties nearby.
